I need to replace my high pressure PS hose.. I started the project and hit a HUGE dead end. I got the fitting off the steering gear just fine..figured that would have been the hard one...WRONG!
I cant get the flare nut wrench to go on the fitting on the back side of the pump. Is there a secret to it? I used the 11/16" flare nut wrench. It would not seat on it.
I finally got frustrated, put the fitting back on the steering gear, refilled the reservoir and quit...but, it still leaks and I still need to replace it.
Is there a trick to it? At wits end, can someone help?
