I couldn't tell you what badge is on any particular drivers car but it is a joke to say any manufacturer won a race. There is nothing on the car that rolls out of the factory.

This age of "equality" has taken the fun out of the races in my opinion.

I do still watch though.

Evening everyone! Got home from Pinewood Derby race about 7:30pm tonight. It was at the YMCA and the kids got to swimming after the race. Andrew had a blast. Didn't do so great, but we'll do better next year.

You'd think all postal scales would weigh the same. Andrew's car weighed in at 4.995 oz at the Pack race. Haven't touched the car in between. Weighed in at 5.535 today. Had to borrow someone's drill to hack the crap out of it. Didn't think about bringing my own drill. Oh well ...

Good thing. I'm sure Chris didn't want that all over his truck.

I downloaded the tune again and the speedo is dead nuts on finally. I think it has something to do with connecting AE while it is tuned.

I should take some time and see if I can get AE to program the speedo properly some day.

That sucks big time. They should have test weight that is exactly 5oz to calibrate the scales.

There's A LOT of things they should do. It's all volunteers. A lot of people were over and a lot of people were under. The drill bit in the borrowed drill was huge compared to what I needed. It was like taking a sledgehammer to kill a fly.

Well found oil pouring out between the #2 injector and the oil rail. So at least it's easy. I hope...

Storm headed this way. Moving pretty fast. Supposed to be between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch of rain. Here's to hoping the basement stays relatively dry.

I'll be shocked if Alexandra isn't in my bed by morning. Lots of lightning, but haven't heard any thunder so far.
