iac problems
I have had my truck 4 years now and every 8 months or so it develops a moan at idle that goes away with acceleration. The fix is replacing the IAC which does fix it for awhile..usually about 8 months....i am on my 4th one and it is moaning again and i am sick of paying $60 or so for the same part...i have tryed numerous brands..

u can spray intake cleaner through the throttle body but i just remove my IAC and spray it clean then reinstall it. lucky for us we have a cable throttle body, the new 05 up trucks have stupid fly by wire and the low voltage motor for the butter fly gets dirty from gunk and burns the motor out my brothers 05 F150 had two already in 70k lucky for him he had the extended warrenty if not a cool $500 for a complete throttle body!
