460 Air Cleaner question

460 Air Cleaner question
I realize how stupid this question sounds but, would anyone be able to help me figure out a possible part number or replacement for a new air cleaner for my truck?
It's a 460 with an Edelbrock 1411 carb, the old one is in an oval shape... however the only Edelbrock cleaner I can find requires 2 posts to hold it in place where as the one on it (Ford Racing stamped) has 1. We've looked everywhere we can on the filter and housing for a model or part number and have had 0 luck, likewise with google.

As the photos show, a fresh one definitely would not hurt.

You'll need to find an air filter element by its measurements rather than by part number.
At Jeg's, this is K&N's filter element (PN 599-E-3505):

Thanks, i'll have to measure it and go from there. I do have another question though, provided it fits under the hood... would a bigger element help it performance wise? I.E mudding and the things that we intend to do with it.

I assume your bogger/mudder will be a high RPM machine so being able to draw enough air will be necessary. Personally, I prefer a 14x3 air cleaner paper or gauze.
But to properly size the filter, K&N has an FAQ page: K&N Air Filter Facts You Should Know
Here's an excerpt about sizing:
"
Use the formula below to compute the minimum size filter required for your particular application. The usable portion of the filter is called the EFFECTIVE FILTERING AREA which is determined by multiplying the diameter of the filter times Pi (3.1416) times the height of the air filter in inches, then subtracting .75-inch. We subtract .75-inch to compensate for the rubber seals on each end of the element and the filter material near them since very little air flows through this area.
A = effective filtering area
CID = cubic inch displacement
RPM = revolutions per minute at maximum power
Example: A 350 CID Chevy engine with a horsepower peak at 5,500 rpm.
"
A 460 at 5500 RPM needs at least 121 square inches.
