very easy should just bolt on. There are certain ones, i think if you have the three allen screw hubs then you need a kit. If you have 5 then the new manuel hubs will bolt right on. I did mine in less then a hour. Someone else will answer also I am not for sure which hub needs the kit.
if you have 5 or 6 screws holding your hubs on it is a simple change. less than an hour. if you have three screws you will also need to change or buy the conversion kit. still a simple job but just a little more time consuming. i suggest that you buy warn premium hubs because they have brass ***** that dont stick out past the hub cap. i installed the standard ones, they worked great until i hit a rock and broke the plastic **** into a 1000 pieces.still trying to get a new ****. one good thing is when you break the **** the hub still stays locked and you can get out of the woods.one bad thing is if the **** is broken you cant unlock the hub so you are driving with the front locked in.
I have the five nut type, so its as easy as removing your tire, unscrewing the auto hub, removing it, and then stick in the warn premium hub and tighten?, will I need any special tools (ex. hub wrinch)?
