Does anyone know how to override the radio station showing up on the display in order that the time will display at all times; other than pressing the clock button.
Without pressing the clock button everytime I start the truck, I never know what time it is. Can't believe a $40,000 truck does not have a clock at all times.
I think its something like if you hold in the clock button it will always go clock.Im not positive but i know its in the book that came with the trucks.
If i press and hold the clock button for 10 seconds it will change the mode and always go back to clock after tuning a station. If this doesnt work on yours it may be defective.
Will it do that even after you turn of the radio and turn it back on. When i press the clock button I can chaqnge stations and it will revert back to clock also. But when I turn off the radio or the truck and restart either, the clock function is no longer automatic until I press the clock button again.
In my truck, if I only see the radio station (or the CD track) instead of the time, I simply push the clock button and it will always revert to the clock a few seconds after tunning the radio to a station or inserting a CD. Pushing the clock button again turns the clock off.
