so its been a while since ive been posted an incase you wanted to know why the last time i posted was the last time this truck ran..
i was omw home from autozone an all a sudden got to a light an truck died.. since then ive done a new fuel pump an STILL the truck does not run!! the idle is choppy as **** an the truck wont run.. so idk wtf else is going on with this POS
Id check fuel pressure on the rail (you need a fuel pressure tester for this 30 -35), vaccuum on engine in inghs (vacuum gauge, I usually tee into the evap line above the the brake booster)if under 18 -why?, codes(scanner or get scanned), remove and clean IAC, check pcv valve and hosing( all the way back to throttle body),make sure intake tubing is sealed after maf
just as a start of the process of elimination
just chop away at it and youll find it

If the idle is choppy the truck must run. Otherwise you wouldn't know that it idles choppy.
98 percent of all choppy idle is the.result of a vacuum leak. There is a typical culprit on these engines. Follow the pipe from the PCV back behind the throttle body. Where this pipe goes imto the intake the rubber on that connection disintegrates. It may look good but still be bad. You checked this you said with starter fluid but i have my doubts.
After that I would bo a compression test.since the truck is new to you right? I could suspect a.timing chain issue if someone else has fooled with it and flubbed it up.
