I have a 1965 Ford F100 with a 300 L6.
Was driving it down a road and all of the sudden it started "coughing".
I thought it was my fuel level but after I filled it up, as I thought that was the problem, it continued to do it. So I checked all Spark Plugs and they still have a spark. Installed new wires, new coil, new distributor cap, new plugs. It still persists I cannot figure it out. Now every time I accelerate from a standing stop it lags or lacks power. Checked the Carb as well and there is fuel reaching it. It has a bit of an erratic idle as well. If you have any ideas to what it might be please let me know thank you.

Bogging down, hesitating, stumbling from a dead stop or when accelerating at speed: Time for a carb overhaul, the accelerator pump is his-tor-ee.
I will check the tightness of the distributor bolts thanks.
I figured it needed a rebuild going to try this. I did put in new points and a condenser its got to be the carburetor. Ill check thanks.
