So im lookin at the 35x12.5x15 Bfg km2's but I've looked at three sites, and 2 are on back order and 1 is crazy pricing. So does anyone know of some good websites to order mt's.
I've been to several around here, but Their a lot cheaper online. Almost like wholesale cheaper. For example I went to a local michaline (spelling?) store to look at pricing on 4 35x12.5x15 mtr with Kevlar. Online I could find them as low as 190 $ despite the expensive shipping, when I went to the store, they wanted a little over 250$ tire. Mount and balance but thats not logical. If you ask me.
Kumhos or Cooper STTs would get my vote over BFGs any day.
Generally speaking MTs are roughly the same price as the same make/model in an AT but...
My Dick Cepek FCIIs in 315/75/16s were $1020 mounted and balanced. This is my second set of these tires and absolutely love them for a good DD AT tire. Ive heard good things about the Dick Cepek Mud Country but I have not personally used them. Definitely worth looking in to.
Guys need to get off this BFG bandwagon. Yeah they advertise on every fourth page in all the 4wd magazines and yeah they sponsor a good number of the KOH and rock crawling competitions but that does not mean they are good tire for the money.
No I didn't start going with bfg's from that. I started liking them due to pricing and reviews. That's the name of the game for me. Every tire I look at. Well I finally decided. Pretty ironic, I did go with the cooper sst? I think sst. But it was only 40 more so no biggie. I really appreciate it y'all. Go ford!

Fun Country tires are great tires, wish they were still making the larger sized. 33" is about where they cut them off. Used to get 50K out of 36/15.50/15 and they were smooth and quiet on highway.
Politics and your president put a 35% fuel tax on tires over 12" wide, which combined with this economy was the end of the bigger runs at the tire factories.

I Agree with that statement. I have had both BFGS and the Coopers, and am currently running the Coopers, and I have not noticed any difference between the two as far traction, ride quality, etc.
