vacuum help please
Hello, newbie here. I am working on a 25 passenger van for my church. It's a short bus I guess & it is a 1987 with a 7.5 liter engine. I have done some searches on this forum, but can not seem to find exactly what I need. A previous mechanic removed the air pump & re-routed all the vacuum lines on it. It runs really rich & you can smell gas while driving on the highway with it. I see uinder the hood there is a vacuum diagram, but I do not understand the various abbreviations & need help with them please. I also need to know if there is an alternate version of vacuum routing after the air pump is gone. I know what is there has to be wrong since the vacuum block on the thermostat housing has nothing on it at all & that is only for starters. I hope I posted here in the correct forum. My local dealership has no info on this engine because of it's age. Please help!

Take photo of the vacuum diagram and email it to me and I may try to help you. My email address is below in this post.
I take it that this is a carb 460.
Here is a few of the abbreviations:
AIR BPV = AIR ByPass Valve
CPRV = Canister PuRge Valve
CARBON CAN = CARBON CANister
EVR = Egr solenoid Vacuum Regulator valve assembly
EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve
SOL V = SOLenoid vacuum Valve assembly
MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor
VRESER = Vacuum RESERvoir
MAN VAC = MANifold VACuum
DIV = air DIverter Valve
FPR = Fuel Pressure Regulator
PCV = Positive Crankcase ventilation Valve
TAB = Thermactor Air Bypass vacuum solenoid valve
TAD = Thermactor Air Diverter vacuum solenoid valve
TCP = Throttle temp ComPensating valve
IAS = Intake Air Solenoid
ACV = combination air Bypass/Air Control Valve
CPRV = Canister Purge Regulator Valve
SV-CBV = Solenoid Valve-CarBuretor bowl Vent
TVV = carburetor fuel bowl Thermal Vent Valve
PV = Power Valve
BV = Bowl Vent port

A/CL DV = Air ControL DiVerter valve (Carb heat valve)
