Great post 77&79f250 I'll use them when I order the clear lens. My plan is to paint the truck a graphite grey metallic with black bumpers and entire front grill and shell, and smoke out the clear lens around the whole truck.

As far a painting the outer grill shell, if the one you have now is in better than average condition I would get another one and use it instead. Cause you have to rough up the surface to get the paint to adhere to it.
One out of a JY even needing some dent repair work, would work since it getting a black paint job anyway.
Also ck the net for some black out covers for the headlights or make some outa plexiglass, ones that covers the whole headlight bezel?????

I will man I have old pics on page now, and I have a junk grill shell that I'm gonna practice on and a better one for final. I was going to scuff it up with sand paper and paint POR-15 on it first then I'll paint it black.

For a tough finish you could get that Rhino spray in bed liner on the bumpers and grill shell? My dad did that on his 50 chevy...... he did not want to spend the $$ for new grill bars and bumpers.
