I've been having trouble with my stainless steel Gardner-Westcott Company bolt kit from Tim. Two of the smaller four intake bolts were two inches two long, and the valve cover bolts bottomed out before holding the stamped steel covers, I reckon they were designed for aluminum covers.
Anyway, Tim has agreed for me to send this kit back. What has been yall's experience with an effective kit for the 400? What reliable brands are out there? I know I can trust ARP, but I don't want to spend that much unless I have too.
All help appreciated.
