Need to find a replacement O ring for my right side hub lock.
The outer edge of the O ring is wore flat, and the entire locker wiggles even with all six screws tight.
So I'm guessing a new O ring would help? all the snap rings are in place and look to be in good order.
Where can i find just the new O ring?
I have seen o ring kits with every size imaginable... You might try a plumbing store. Shouldnt be a buck or so. Another approach might be finding some used ones in a junk yard which are in good shape.

Ok, i think i will call the auto parts and see what they have.
Well got curious today.
I switched hub locks to see if it was just a O ring deal.
It wasn't, something on the passenger side is loose or something, because the other lock has a good O ring on it, and it still wiggles pretty good.
Everything appeared to look good, so not sure what the deal could be.
Any body ever dealt with anything like this before?
Its locked in, i was wondering if the groove was to wide, and was allowing to much play, but i don't know for sure.
I'll be replacing the ball joints and wheel bearings on that side here before to long, i just want to make sure the hub is not wore before i do.
I don't want to have to redo it again.
I dont really have a preference between round or square... Just replaced square with round; they are yours for a bone and shipping. On a side note, I suggest you consider upgrading to the newer six bolt hub setup found on ttb d44's. To do so you simply need all parts from the bearing retainer nuts out from a newer rig in a j/y. $20 - $30 bucks should do it for both sides. This should fix all your problems and improve all around function and reliability, and in my opinion asthetics. The newer parts will perfectly fit you older hubs. Just make sure you remember the order of the parts but this is quite simple; it will only reassemble on way so just be sure to use all the parts and youll be ok.
How old are the hubs? If they are Warn then they should be 6 bolt, correct? Are they still under warranty?
My gut tells me that your wheel bearings are worn or loose and need to be inspected/repacked/adjusted. I don't think the locker wiggling has much to do with the 6 little bolts. Take the whole thing apart and inspect the spindle for wear too.
I have had to replace a couple of spindles over the years due to abuse and neglect and improper maintenance. You can't run your truck through mud and water and expect the grease to remain in the hub forever.
