Dana 70 Indentify???
I have several rears that I am trying to identify that have been on a compund pile for some time now. I think I have a Dana 70 on the pile and could possibly have two of them with a couple Dana 60's(I know sounds like allot). What I am trying to figure out is how to identify if one is a Dana 70? Can anyone give me a good way to be sure it is a Dana 70? I have one Dana 60 that has 60 stamped right on it but the others do not have any way to idenify them. The one that I am questioning also has a large X marked on the back side of the case. Can anyone help? Thanks!

The Dana 60 and 70 have the same gear cover, but the Dana 70 has a lip like an edge siticking out on the bottom of the cover because the cover isn't big enough to cover the entire differential.
