Help to identify, please

In the engine compartment of my 1999 E-350 there is, what appears to be, a tire fill-up air fitting running along side of the tranny dipstick/fill tube.

Can someone tell me what that is for?

Thanks!

I'm fairly sure that is the fuel pressure testing port, but i might be wrong. I'll have to peek under the hood of my 06 and see if its there.

Its a service port for the AC, mine has a cap and a green tag on it.

Are you sure?

AC ports are usually larger and look entirely different than a tire fitting.

It may be the fuel pressure testing port. You might be interested in this posting of mine.

Typically there are two AC ports on vehicles - one larger and one smaller. One is the high pressure side, the other is the low pressure side. The larger one is way bigger than a tire schrader valve, the smaller is about the same size as a tire schrader valve.
