My 89 F-350 is getting between 13 and 14 miles per gallon on my normal runs. The terrain is more mountainous with alot of hills and turns and such. On the highway (or close enough to highway considering the terrain) its running about 18. Is this considered decent fuel milage for such a vehicle?
12.5 MPGs with my 1992 F350 4x4 w/5.8L, E4OD and 3.55 gears. Took a bunch of work to get it there too. Tires are stock height, but a little wider which does not help the situation.
I get about 8 city and 12 highway. Not bad for 35's with 3.55 gearing. Not to mention my stock un-calibrated PSOM... Getting 33's on Friday and getting the PSOM re-calibrated.
