need help with ghost lines!!!!!!

I got the body work done on my car for the second time and i still have some small ghost lines on the chop top. Ive resigned myself to the fact that thier there. My car is all black. My question is if i go with a lighter color on top where the ghost line is will the lighter color not collect as much heat and there for not show as bad? sorry for the run on sentence.
