Speedometer issues 2001 v10
Ok guys, when the cummins conversion took place the PO also swapped the original 2001 auto transmission to a ZF6 from a 2002. Now the speedometer doesn't work. But the odometer does. I was told the harness might have been cut during the swap. Does the VSS sensor on the rear diff control both speedometer and odometer.? And if one works shouldn't the other? The speedometer Needle is layed all the way over to the right. When I start driving it backs up to 80mph then when I come to a stop it lays back down to the right.. Can someone help with this issue? I need the speedometer fixed!! Lol.
