Check out the "Stock headlight upgrade" in the tips thread. I installed the wiring harness to take the load off the switch and new Sylvania Xtravision bulbs in my '95. Not a lot of $ nor time to do so.The improvement was great. I highly recommend the upgrade. Adjusting the headlights also helped immensely. Waiting for decent weather to do the Sylvania lens restoration to complete the fix.
xlt4wd90: you might try an adhesive sold at Autozone which claims 3,500 lbs. of holding power. Made in Florida. It is called: Plastic Welder by VersaChem.
vwhed1979: yes I see the end result is very decent, my concern was the inside of the lens, in the sense it may be stained too with a cloudy film.
