FICM 45.5

Not really sure what it was before. It sits right around 47.5-48 average. When i get on it stays aroun 47-47.5. I have seen as low as 45.5. Idle is solid 48. If i didnt pull that view up on the CS i probably wouldnt even have thought about it. I have read in Diesel Power Mag about a "bottom plate" like $550 or something that brongs it right up as well as some mods that can be done at home. Just not sure if i wanna mess with it since it is still running well

I think you would be better off sending in to FICMrepair guy. He replaces all components and reflows solder ect. Much more reliable repair than you can do on your bench. There are a lot of happy customer posts on here so I would go that route. If mine goes I will send and it's coming from 5000 miles away almost....

IIRC the FICM Voltage Cutoff for it being BAD is 42Volts anything less and theres High RISK of damage to injectors. And being that you are getting down to 45 volts here and there its slowly Failing and is only a matter of time before it TOTALY Fails
If you want to try and resoilder it you would have to determine its condition when you open the FICM Up if you find Cracked Bad Soilder joints then reflowing the soilder joints Might work. But if you open it up and dont see any Obvious sign of Bad Joints then IMO a Reflow of the Soilder joints is probably a LONG Shot and would be best just to send it in to ED at www.ficmrepair.com at this point.
Definatly check into Ed service I beleive he has a few options as far as sending you a FICM so that you dont have to wait for yours to ship and repaired and then shipped Back. So if he sent you a FICM you would only be Down as long as it takes to swap parts out
It would also be a good Idea to check the Batterys and Alternator out Now check output and Load test each battery separate and clean all Battery Cables and Grounds really good a dremal tool with a wire brush tool on it works great
