I just seen a pic of a 65 with a chrome strip that goes across the dash above the glove box does anybody know where i can get that trim id like to do a two tone and not have to worry about finishing up where the two colors meet
I'd definitely look in lmc trucks , they give you free catalogs to look at, I got the majority of my parts from there, btw I looked at your pics, it looks pretty solid except the bed for the truck is wrong, the bed is the same for 65 and 66 and they don't line up either so you won't be able to use the stlyeside trim. Just lettin ya know.
Yea i know i am on the hunt for a short bed for it your pics is the one i seen the dash trim in and gave me inspiration to do the paint job i liked how the red and black went together only i will prob do the cab all red

Just to add; as far as I know; the door trim & dash trim to include the headliner side trim aren't repop items as of now! I try and remove all the ones in the salvage yards any time I come across these items.
Ive got scads of headliner trim and a few of the dash trim...and lots of the door trim...all of it not being repopped...as to the headliner trim...Ive found lots...with pitting from oxidation/moisture over the years...those I pass by...that stuff is a pain to store..when you dont have a garage and tons of space.

There are two of these anodized aluminum strips on the front of the dash, not one.
There's a very short one on the left side above the ignition switch, a much longer one on the right side that begins just past the instrument cluster, extends to almost the end of the dash.

Did you happen to notice while looking at these pics that the OP's truck is a 1963 F100? Obviously not. Before voicing your opinion, do a bit of research because this Styleside bed is 100% correct!
1957/60 Styleside Beds were also factory installed on the following: 1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350 (9' Express only) / 1962/63 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F250 4WD.

379852-S3 (replaced C0AB-6404439-F) .. Clip-R/L Dash Panel Moulding / Ford truck parts catalog does not list the size / Obsolete
MANDERBACH FORD in Temple PA has ONE = 610-929-3683 / No other Ford Dealer, no obsolete parts vendor has any.
Ask Don (camperspecial65), he prolly has dozens of these clips, cuz he scrounges all the PNW wrecking yards.
