If you want to recover some 134, you can do what the guys do to drain old milk bulk tanks. Take your cylinder, pull a vacuum on it when its warm sitting in the sun, close the valve and unhook the pump. Pack the cylinder in ice hook the line up to it then open the valve, it should suck most of the refrigerant into it.

Hey everyone, i e-vac the system again, replaced the accumulator, replaced the fan clutch, made sure my fan shroud was secure, and put the red orifice tube in. Do these numbers sound right on a charge: 42 oz of R134a, 6oz of ester oil? I bought a new a/c cycling switch but when i was threading it on i went a little to far and cracked the plastic, so i'm going to have to get a new switch. Can i adjust the old switch with that screw for R134a pressures, how does that screw work, when you turn it left it lowers the cut off pressure and when you turn it right it raises the cut off pressure? Its blowing cool at idle, not really cold but i haven't can it on the road yet since the recharge.

You can adjust the switch.. You will want to lower the cutoff pressure slightly, I'm thinking like 1/8th of a turn.
