EBPV question

I can't seem to find out if doing the EBPV delete will help or hurt mpgs and power on a basically stock motor? Any thoughts? Thanks Ray

It won't make a difference with either.

If it don't get cold where you live, you can do this with no effects on a stock truck. The only things the EBPV does is help the truck warm up on cold mornings.

I do have a tune on my DP-TUNER that allows me to close the EBPV to help slow the truck down on hills.

It gets cold here so I'll not do it then. Thanks
Is that a custom tune or comes with it? Would be cool to have!

I live in a cold climate, and I completely deleted it. (Non-EBV Pedestal and removed the flapper from the exhaust housing.

No issues this winter, I just let it run for a couple minutes when it was really cold, and drive it easy (under 2k rpm) until the oil starts warming up.

Just a regular tune you can get with the DP-TUNER.

I am in the process of deleting mine right now. 100% to fix the oil leak though.

Sounds like a sick-a$$ tune. Do you start with driving in that selection or dial to it ,when coming up on declined hills/mountains?

The decel tune is between my 40tow and 60tow tunes, so all I have to do is press the button once from either tune to turn it on.

Well DP is on the list now! I'm feeling my wallet shinking already. Never thought I would say it but I'm starting to like Powerstroke Mods Syndrome PMS
