Cold

Darn I hate this cold weather. I was used to the warm stuff we had in January and now I can freeze my behind off again. The garage is cold and I don't feel like working out there and I haven't aclimated to the stuff.

What are you all doing to keep warm. Tomorrow I'll go to an auction and have to dig out the coveralls.

Staying inside. Just hope it warms up soon so we can get back over to the garage and work on "Jr.".

I do like it cold enough to put the bugs to sleep. This stuff has gone past even my limit.

I was going to work on my bike today but common sense prevailed. It can wait until Monday.

And I even have a heater in it.

It was about 3 degrees this morning and I was fool enough and went to an auction that was outside. I put on lots of clothing and kept moving. It actually wasn't too bad. Bigwobbley, It is suppose to be around 50 by the middle of the week and in the 40's tomorrow. Our temp is going up about as much as yours, just starting lower. lol

Whoo Hoo it was almost 10 today!!! Tried swimming in the pond while chopping ice for the cows, but didn't get more then just a foot in. Long cold ride home with a wet boot and sock. HAd some big snowflakes but they didn't amount to anything.

Spent Friday night and Saturday at a Scout campout with my oldest son. Yep, it was cold. When we got up Saturday, it was 3°. Fortunately, we got a campsite behind a nice line of Cedars, so we had no wind. By 10 am, the camp staff decided to cancel the competition that the boys were participating in, due to a few scouts getting close to hypothermia.

Fortunately, our boys all did well. When they warmed back up, they even said it was fun. Of course, at the meeting tonight, they'll be bragging......

Today was nice. Was able to get outside and smoke a cigar. Went to the store and just needed a t-shirt to unload the truck.

Yesterday they had the Polar Plunge at Tuttle to raise money for special olympics. I'll bet that was a frosty one. Today as you mentioned Jack it was real nice and got on the top side of 40. I only needed a jacket after this little cold spell. I guess hot and cold is relative to some extent.
