When the FRPS is blown it will often NOT set a code because the electronics are fine.
Test to check:
The FRPS is attached to the rail and is small, black, and has an electrical connector on top of it with a vacuum line attached to the body of the FRPS itself.
Pull that vacuum line off the FRPS, DOES IT SMELL LIKE FUEL? Yes=FRPS is blown.
Pull the engine oil dipstick, DOES IT SMELL LIKE FUEL? Yes=FRPS is blown.
If the truck has issues starting and maintain running, shut the truck off, then UNPLUG THE FRPS. DOES IT RUN BETTER OR NORMAL WITH THE FRPS UNPLUGGED? YES=FRPS is blown.
If you do have a blown FRPS then replace it ASAP,like yesterday, and do an oil change ASAP as well. Gas will wash down the cylinder walls=VERY BAD & is horrible for engine bearings.
