Joey, didnt you just do a new engine rebuild, How do you like it. was it needed to go with dual hpop, I would have to guess the Terminator T500 would be fine, did you up grade fuel system

Yes I did, basically the same as your build.I like it alot, still working on a few bugs though..I have live tuning with DP this coming Friday, hopefully that will resolve the issues..The dual Terminator HPOP probally is over kill but I love how the truck responds with it and it gives me room to grow..So far I have left the fuel system stock with the exception of a FRX and Yarbro pump...
Joey you had low compression. What was the reason again? Leaking valve or something.:- could this also be greens problem? I was told if you interested in trying, if you add a few drops of oil in the low compression cylinder, it could show you where the problem may be. If pressure goes up its a problem with rings, if not it may be a valve issue.

David, you are correct, with mine#5 cylinder had a stuck exhaust valve. When we ran compression test on mine all were 350psi + or - 5 (after fixing)..I am still counting on that being a cold engine and non seated rings..using some oil in the cylinder wll tell you if its on the piston side but a lot of blow by out the oil fill tube will do the same.I would suggest a cylinder leak down test and listen for air.
Be careful if you are going to put oil in the cylinder..we tore up a guage doing that..well past 1000 psi (the guage only went to that)i dont think its suppose to go past it..
we did a leak down test on #8 and you can hear it leaking into the crankcase
I used an ultrasonic device to listen for the air leaking. I hope its a broken ring but the way my luck is going Im not very hopefull. Engine is ready to pull, I will bring home a Gantry from work on monday. pull the head and take a look.
Ok I torn down the engine, I found the second ring on #8 piston was broke
it fell out on the ground when I pulled the piston, no damage to the cylinder walls. found a large chunk of silicone stuck in the oil pick up tube, I have taken the block and bottom end to an machine shop to recheck all the bearing clearance and perform balancing and what ever it will need..
Wife says the truck needs to go after I get it put back together and running right. Were heading to WI. next friday to pick up my new/used 2011 F350 Crewcab Ulitmate Lariat Fx4 SRW and drive it back to socal, so no need for three trucks.
