I have been getting a lot of vibration when towing ...It seems to be coming from my rearend ..limited slip problem maybe ? I used to only have the problem when i would accelerate heavier than normal when going from a stop to acceleration when making a right or a left ..Now it seems to be gettin worst and more noticeable vibration even when not towing ...I was going to change the rearend oil and see if that helps it at all ...My question is does that differencial cover have a gasket ? and also is there anything to look for while i have the cover off ? Thanks in advance ..

Mine did not have a gasket. I just used black rtv when re assembling. U might have a bad u joint or maybe your drive shaft is bent. Also check your slip yolk for lubrication.

 

Consider installing an '08 aluminum differential cover while you have the cover off. The new cover has a groove for RTV sealant and is an easy installation.

Besides the cover, you will need new (slightly longer) bolts and lockwashers. A search will give you exact details and part numbers.
