code 628

hey guys new to this site have been looking at different threads .....

i just bought a 93 e350 extended cab with a 5.8 E40d trans...

the van has 130k miles and the trans was rebuild 2000 miles ago....

the check engine light is on throwing code 628

TC pressure....

my question is what the odds its the TC ot the sending units????

it runs and shifts great... havnet tried towing yet but i havve seen a few threads talking about this but didnt see any answers

what do you all thinks

You can try this forum too: Clutch, Transmission, Differential, Axle & Transfer Case - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums Should be someone there who'll be helpful.

User Mark Kovalsky was a Ford transmission engineer and he posts here with helpful info all the time. Perhaps change the title of your thread to mention a trans DTC and it might attract Mark's attention.

If he does offer advice make sure to give him some rep points---it's the currency of posting on FTE!
