interesting idea. Wonder how it would work. things tend to move around on the metal as it stands right now.

Ya they slide around and can scratch it up. Or they have to be tied down...

I took mine out to install two amps for stereo. After five years I think I used it twice.

I use my floor several times a year. One of the best things there are.

I understand though that they did away with it for the 2011's and up.

Been thinking about painting the bed with some line-x stuff .the plastic Bed liner it came with is a pita for tiedown access and static elect. Is a concern
When you have fuel cans in back.honestly could not figure out what the flat load floor was for !

It turned a comfortable rear seat into sitting on a flat rock! I'd take the the real seat back!

That full floor is golden when you have tools or luggage or sometimes boxes and who knows what.

golden to say the least. i drove coast to coast for longterm work and had lots of luggage with me. about a third of the trip was pouring rain, and my luggage was neatly stowed in the back on the fold out floor. was awesome. its like having even more truck bed space, but protected by the cabin. love em.

I line x'ed my flat load floor. and its AMAZING. took off all the rubber stoppers (carefully) and the strap handles prior to taking it in for spray. and of course taped off the hinges. again, came out like a dream. have yet to install it though.

btw bought a spare flat load floor (dont ask) and dont need it now. anyone interested? PM me for details
