Well, after many years in my favorite Bullnose trucks, it came time to pass the 86 on to the boy. So I had to replace it somehow....
What I really like about this new generation is how it takes so many styling cues from the bullnose like the flat nose with the squared looking headlights, the indented wheel wells, and the large center stack in the dash. Feels new, but really familiar at the same time...
WTF is all that in the center console? Is that a truck, or a Luxury Airliner??
Thanks Paul. I think it's a little bit of both. I'm really impressed with the power from the Ecoboost. I haven't quite figured out all that stuff in the middle yet. Probably won't ever figure some of it out. The cooled seats are a pretty strange sensation though....
I was just looking under the hood of one at the stealership today. They have an IC on the front in sort of a funny angle. I couldnt see the actual turbo anywhere. I am assuming it is very small.

It has twin turbos, one on each side of the engine.
NICE!!! wouldn't expect to see you putting any threads on here asking how to fix anything for a while Buddy I work with has the EcoBoost engine and loves it.
Matt's supposed to be coming down next month. Maybe we could all go to La Parrilla? Or maybe we could do it some night without him? Where'd you buy it?

Bill...let me know the dates. I've got to travel some near the end of the month, but it would be good to get together.
I bought from Koons Ford in Sterling VA, just outside of DC near Dulles. It was a 3 plus hour trip to get up there. A trip made worse because I had to sacrifice my CTS-V to get it, and that was an awfully long last ride. But they gave me a really good deal on the new truck and good money on the V. So it was worth it.
