My '96 F150 was built 9/95. In searching for parts i am running into stuff that are strictly for '96's but some don't specify about the build date. Getting confused, especially looking at headers. Any help appreciated!

 

Yours was built in late 95 as a 96 model. The reason your running into part issues is because 96 was the first and only year of this body style to run OBDII (except heavy duty 97's). You need to buy parts specifically for a 96.
