If your truck is a F100 the 73-79 donor parts will work. You will likely want to swap power steering at the same time, & maybe transmission. I did I went from 3 on the column to C6 auto.

If your truck has the FE 360 in it it's 73-76, since the FE was dropped in 76. Find & buy a donor with like engine and tranny, & buy it. That way you will have a Ford engineered system & all the little parts that you might overlook at the pick & pull.

Thanks for information on the brakes system. The engine has been changed to a 351w and a auto trans with power steering. This is my first rebuild. I always like the Ford trucks.

Be aware, no 351Ws were installed in trucks until 1980 so there will be no reference anywhere for any parts associated with your truck. Some 302 parts may work.

The engine mounts on the 302 and 351w/351c from certain years are the same. So it is possible to have the frame mount from the 302 and install the 351w/351c.. again the 351c is from certain years. But most parts will work considering the bell housing is the same on the 302 and 351w.

And yes, parts from a '73-'79 will work provided it's the F100. Make sure you grab the complete brake system and if possible like Jowilker said, grab a complete donor for not just brake parts, but for all around parts.

good luck

Remember, the 351C was not put into the F-series. You are talking about the 351M/400 series motors. The C motor is similar.
