EGR Delete

I am having RCD's EGR delete installed on my '06 and was thinking that since the turbo is coming off I should probably have them clean it... Right? I'm just trying to figure out what all to have done pertaining to maintenance while they are in there.

Also, what is a rough guesstimate on how long it should take a mechanic that knows his way around a 6.0 to install the delete kit?

It should take 6 hours to install. Here is a link with what it involves. Ford 6.0L Powerstroke EGR Delete Kit by Sinister Diesel

I just had mine apart for new heads, ARP's, RCD delete and I didnt have the turbo cleaned. I think its personal preference on that.

Well, at this rate it looks like I will skip having the turbo done. I still have a feeling that I have more than an EGR problem. I guess we'll find sooner than later
