Most of what you find is converting stoves on sailboats....

From what little I could glean, the CNG tank won't work for propane. Valve is in the wrong place, I imagine the filling device is different as well.
I thought there might be a way to retrofit a valve for propane but you are right, the whole process seems expensive.

The best way to get power back using propane is to up the compression ratio. You think the 360 is a dog now, just put propane on it, and gives a dog a new meaning. 16-18 to one, and now you have some power.,

Propane and gasoline prices are pretty "fluid" (no pun intended) right now -- up appreciably nationwide --I'd wait until the smoke clears to do fuel price comparisons given conversion costs.

Good point. However, considering the increase in gas price by approx $1.00 a gallon in the last couple of months(!), now might be a good time to start thinking about these things.
