2000 F450 Electrical Problems

I have a 2000 F450 with a 7.3. While driving engine died .Found #20 fuse under hood blown.When I replace it the new fuse blows instantly.This is a 50amp maxi fuse. Can anyone tell me a possible cause from past experience? Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

What does #20 fuse run?
