????? I'm sorry, I don't understand. Does this mean it does work or it does not work. The cig lighter and the OBD port are both powered off fuse #3 under the dash. If you lighter is out, then you have no power to either one. If you lighter works, Then ?????
OK the cig lighter does NOT work, but he says all the fuses are ok. Is he just missing something or is there another possibility? He says the #3 is a 20A is that the right one? Also, when I was under his dash hooking up the DP, There was some kinf of box wired up near the OBD connector. I was assuming that it was part of a trailer brake controller that was removed. Is there some kind of connector that could've been accidentally pulled apart when someone was removing things?
I had same problem with wifes truck. Cig lighter didn't work either. Was the 20 amp #3 fuse. Now it and OBD port works. If the fuse is good, test the leads coming out of it or the wiring at the cig plug. May have a problem at the fuse panel area.
