My 2005 E350 with the V10 is stalling anytime I go from Drive to Reverse or Drive to Park.
I'm thinking it's a vacuum problem but no CEL and no codes at the moment!
I do occasionally get P1071 & 1074 And I think they are related, but not right now.
I know this is a van, but with the V10 and not many other vanners have the beast under the hood...
So I pulled of the engine cover (dog house) and took a peak to find a hose coming from the back of the intake manifold to a T and the hose with quick clips on both ends was very dry rotted and falling apart in my hand, literally.
The hose had PN, Shown below. Do you think this could be the root of my problems?
I have the 99 v-10 f-250 and just replaced my pcv 90 under the throttle body due to the same issues as you describe. Even down to the codes. Sounds like vacuum leak to me.

could you tell me more about where the pcv90 is, maybe I should replace mine?
and possibly a part number??
Can't find that part number anywhere. Not even on FordParts.com. I wonder if it is the hose that goes into the back of the IAC? That would explain the stalling.
I'll have the PCV and that hose tomorrow...HOPEFULLY this will solve the stalling. Since I had messed with that hose earlier today it's been running ruff.
Can't wait til she's all better.
I even have an appt with the local small shop to inspect the front end. I suspect there is a ball joint going bad. But that's another story.
I'll report back after I get some work done tomorrow.
thanks all for the help
