I think a few guys here may be running one. However, most of the F150 guys (same 5.4L engine) are using them for paperweights. Of those that did keep using the spacer, it was just because they liked the "cool whistle" noise that it makes.
It was because of those reviews that I never tried one personally. So, read my statement with some apprehension as it is second-hand info.
