Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone would know the spline count on a Dana 44 front end of a 1977 Ford f150 4x4. Do I absolutely have to pull the axle to check?

Wait are you talking about inner or outer axle shafts. Or pinion?

The inner splines because I wanna install lower gearing
