Was you X being lifted from the axle?
Talked to some reps from RAS before installing. They recommended not placing a jack anywhere on the axle. They told me you you wanted the leaf springs to have as much curve in them as possible. They also told me that by leaving the tires on the leaf's would have more curve before the install.
I placed my jack under the receiver hitch and raised the vehicle.
I originally went with the quarter gap. I was still setting quite a bit of sag with the trailer hooked up. RAS suggested going quarter and dime. I went quarter and half dime gap. Still seem to be get a lot of sag with TT hooked up. I am starting to wonder if I have tom mush tension on the RAS. They told me each spring should be able to handle an additional 1,800 lbs or 3,600 total. Can't believe I'm still sagging as much as I am.
