p/s pump

The power steering pump on my 75 bronco is ate up.
Has anyone ever bought a heavy duty pump that will utilize the stock bracket. I saw one on the Wild Horses web page, but will it fit?

And speaking of steering, is the knuckle-flip thing worth the money for a 50% highway/50% in the Louisiana mud bronco?

The Saginaw pump coversion is the way to go. I think most of the Bronco places sell them for under $200. Those pumps will out perform the stock Ford pump easily.

Two of the main reasons for doing the knuckle over conversion is for tie rod clearance and to make the steering linkage angles better with a big lift. It is a good idea if you have bent your stock linkage.
It is very popular for the rockcrawling guys along with high strength steering linkages.

I bought my pump from napa and spent somewhere around $100 to $125. It is Napa - Part # 20-6244 Power Steering Pump. You will also need a fitting Napa - Part # 1563 Pressure hose fitting adapter. I found this information for the Napa pump on the web at http://www.broncohio.com/tech/broncochart.html under the tech section.
