Sound Dampening Pad?
I recently purchased a 1995 F-150, 2wd, regular cab, 4.9L, with an M50D 5-speed transmission. I'm seeing indications in the literature that there should be a sound-dampening pad underneath the shifter boot, but the parts person at the dealership cannot find one. Could someone please confirm that there should indeed be such a component on this truck and perhaps give me some hints on how I might purchase one? Thanks!

Sound Dampening Pad?
I had my boot off mine a year or so ago and I seem to remember such a pad. Not sure what to call it, but the right dealer parts person should be able to find it.
