Having some A/C issues, and I live in Charleston, SC so need to fix before I cook to death. EATC trouble code 024 Blend door short, I hit defrost and reset it. It blew cold for about 45 seconds then I can hear the blend door move, and then Hot air. Since I can hear it move is the actuator bad, or is the blend door broken ( which I read online is a common problem with fords)?

 

sounds like a bad blend door, or the actuator itself?
