well i got the hot rod on the road today [my 78f250 501 stroker] for the 1st time after having it bundeld up all winter man theres no feeling like it in the world having 550 hp on demand if needed and when a truck works/runs good it seems well worth the time and $ put into it a young fellow from work just bought a 2012 dodge ram/hemi for $60.000 thinking it was the fastest thing around but got his a** kicked good in a short off the line stint theres still "no replacment for displacment"!! old iron gotta love em and no payments to boot

ya that kids still pi**ed wont even talk to me lol oh well i have lost better freinds for less any ways i cant figure this one out got into our drive about 1/2 hr and all of a sudden lots of smoke in the cab from burning wires man what a stink! stopped on the side of the road liffted the carpet and burnt wire from the + to my gearvender over drive control box [oooohhhhnnnnoooo] cut the wire quik like continued on to the city with no over drive [that sucked used 1/2 tank more than i usualy do] next day i checked it out found the poss wire rubbed through and touched the floor causeing a short from the inline fuse to the box taped/re-possitioned the wire and it still worked that box is a $300 item! but its ok now and still works!!
