I have a bad leak in the trans `05 6.0 torque shift. It`s coming from the rt. rear of the trans up above the pan where i cant get a good look at it.it appears to be just forward of the cooler line. This just happened suddenly yesterday.

Not sure about leak but i would bet on cooler line if its coming from that area. These tranny's seldom have any problems . hopefully Mark the tranny guy will chime in and give you some info.

Is there a hole in the case? The '05 TorqShift had problems with a snap ring coming out and punching a hole in the case.

Not sure about the location, but here's your answer. IIRC that snapring circles virtually the entire case.
