Clutch trouble
So I've got clutch trouble. Here's what I've done so far...
Bought a 95 F 250 7.3 Psd with 5 speed manual. Right out of the shoot 2nd gear was nearly impossible to get into unless the truck was stopped. Reverse became an issue shortly after and then the throw out bearing died. I tore into it and replaced everything since I was in there already. Did away with dual mass and replaced with solid fly wheel, clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing, and release bearing. Although it fixed numerous issues the shifting was unchanged. So I went to the hydraulics. Tried bleeding and bleeding, then said to hell with it and bought the whole git up. Master line and slave pre bled. Still unchanged. Then I started to pay real close attention to the master moving in the fire wall and broken pivot bushings but everything seems to be working the way it should. So now I'm stumped. Could it be the tranny is on her last legs? Truck does have bout 250,000 on her. Or is it something really simple like bent release fork, or bent clutch linkage. Something I can't eyeball. Any incite would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
