Bushing issues
First post to the forum although I have enjoyed reading other posts for well over a year since I bought my modified 1969 4WD short bed flareside. I have resolved shift slopage issues (NP435), clutch linkage issues (sheared pedal shaft, bushing wear) and now my pride and joy is parked in the driveway needing a bushing for the accelerator shaft (pn CTZ9A703-A?). Truck originaly had a 6 cyl now has a 429 V8. Appears the original owners modified the 6 cyl linkage for the V8. I have repaired the sheared link arm now need to repace the worn out plastic bushing. Long story, short: is there an easy way to replace all those plastic burshings in these trucks without having too setup a machineshop?
