2x4 to 4x4 conversion
Hi guys, i want to turn my drw f 350 2wd int a 4x4 am i nuts or should i go for it .i can get a f 350 4x4 parts truck and i have a 351 motor trans and casei want to put the whole drive train and swap axles from the 350 parts truck is it doable thanks and its a 87 truck w/460 now

You can convert the truck over without to much trouble if you know what you're doing but I'm pretty sure you can keep the 460. You need to change the tailshaft on your tranny, bolt a TC on there, move the crossmember to hold it up, shorten the driveshaft or get a driveshaft from the same length truck but a 4x4. The front suspenion i'm not to familiiar with but it can be done.

95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds
