So what did you do to your 6.0L today?
i crawled under my truck to inspect around because this clunk is getting really bad and i still cant figure out what it is. i also noticed my front axle u joints and seals are bad...AGAIN
Then i went to relax and wash my truck...the copper pipe going to the hose faucet must have split in the last cold snap which soaked the basement. Good monday

Hope you found it before you had feet of water.

You should go ahead and drain it anyway. Good chance there is
just enough water to trigger it during the right motions from
driving. Also if there is any water and you leave it you can get
a nice little colony of algae growing in it.

have any kind of bearing or bushing. The steering shaft had a u joint and it would bind on a tight turn and the shaft would clunk against the tube. Just saying, noises can be a pain to track down.
Miles, the updated front end looks waayyy better
I too have an awkward clunk upon low speed turns, generally while the terrain is changing angles. I have been looking for it over a damn year now & even though I generally never take my vehicles to a shop, I've taken her to a few because I am frustrated. Worst part is none of them could find it either
P.S...I have just realized the only Pic's I took last year, were when I got the new Wheels/Tires.
In a empty parking lot nonetheless...Wow so unlike me

Before
After, nice and clean now, even cleaned the intercooler
Old Waterpump vs Dieselsite New Waterpump
Also took the time to clean up and properly complete my 2/0 cable upgrade
A little aggravating, but the drain plug from my Mishimoto radiator decided to break. Can't understand why they would use an aluminum drain plug....
Not pictured: a new Gatorback belt to replace the worn Motorcraft belt.
Should have it back running this evening since I was missing a few hose clamps and it was way too cold to be working outside.

Just a quick question,I see that your old pump has a little wear on it,hows the face look in the cover. Mine got pretty messed up from a pump that had a bearing go bad. Just wondering if you think it would cause cavitation. I'd call Mishi about that drain ****,they should of used a nylon one

The minor staining was the result of them previously replacing the pump and me removing the pump, then reinstalling it finger tight to clean the front of the engine. I know the pump was removed because the a-hole that did it, used and air hammer with a long chisel to get the fan off.......AND reinstall it. My brother in law and I fought with that thing and had to use a pipe wrench and the tool to hold the pulley still to get it off.
Thanks! I take some serious pride in keeping The Monster clean
I don't know how or why I don't have a picture of it, but my engine was absolutely FILTHY when I first bought it.
It was so filthy that when I was about to lift the hood to look at the engine, the salesman dove his fat behind to stop me from opening the hood before he said what he had to say, which was: "So about the engine....we can pressure wash it all we want but it's gonna get seriously dirty up here in Amarillo" (This is him after some serious weight loss Ford Dealer Hereford Texas | Amarillo New & Used Cars Trucks & SUVs | Whiteface Ford)
What you see there is after non-consecutive sessions of cleaning the engine. You couldn't tell there was an engine there it was so dusty. (it was dust brown to be exact )
It must be pretty crusty for you to ask me that, lol!
