Jack I have some photos for you. Jope that these help with your fuel system photo project.

Hope this helps.
Enjoy.

EDIT : I guess I really should go put that tank back into the truck.
I think it would help to have a place to store fuel when driving.
After all I am not into the redneck fuel delivery system. Bucket
on the hood so you can see when you need to add fuel.

It will be nice putting it back in with no fuel in the tank. I pumped
all of it out when I had the sender out for cleaning.

Sean,

Thank you for thinking about this. Based on the time you posted this I was looking over and annotating your older pics. Your timing is perfect!

The tank was out so it was an easy thing to do.

Tank is back in. It's less of a pain to put it in when you don't have 7 gallons sloshing around and now I know where to reach
through to get at each of the lines. Really the only thing that was any pain was the electrical connector for the sender. Should
of plugged that in before I put the back strap on. So I undid the center side and got a bit of room to work and right in it went.

I started to fill it from the 35 gallon barrel I have for diesel and just sat back and watched it with the occasional check of the
level that the gauge was telling me I had in the tank. At least now the sender is tracking like it should with no dead spots.
I did this very same thing with the other truck but got at the tank from the top when I was doing some stuff to the bed
and the bed bolts. Very easy to tip the bed when you have ½ the bolts out and the other ½ loose.

Well, better late than never but I did the 6.4L pan & filter upgrade, when I changed all the fluid 2 weeks ago, went pretty smooth and worked good for my camping trip over labor day pulling the toy hauler...
Now I am in need of upgrading the alternator as I'm starting to get the battery light after starting.... Ugh, one thing after another...

If you don't have any heavy power users you might try the
dual alternator system upper alternator with the smaller pulley.
The upper one of the dual alternator system is a 140A and just
drops right in place.

I did the 7.3 G3 large case 130 amp alternator with smaller pulley. Charges great! Needs a wiring adapter pigtail, but mine came with it.

I know that the part number for that pigtail is in this alternator thread.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...o-replace.html
That was the thread that helped me make up my mind to get the upper 140A 6G.

Here are some 3G to 6G conversion harness on Ebay.

This seller (california_alternator_starter) is listing
it as "More than 10 available"
ALTERNATOR PLUG HARNESS CONVERSION LEAD ADAPTER For FORD 6G TO 3G W/ STATOR LEAD | eBay

This seller (s-and-d-repair) is listing
it as "More than 10 available"
Alternator Conversion Harness Connector Lead Adapter Ford 6G TO 3G w Stator lead | eBay

I don't think your going to need to worry about anyone not getting one.
There seems to be a few sellers and worst come to worst you can just
make one from parts and call it good.

There are other sellers and these two were for the least with shipping.

Had this truck since Feb or March and this is the first time I've ever returned it to stock on the sct. PO said he always drove and towed in performance box tune. NEVER changed it. I assumed he knew what he was doing so that's why I've never messed with it even towing. But anyway......I was watching the sct gauges as I was on the interstate, temps were crazy good. Got of the interstate and pulled over to hook up torque pro. Got back on and drove a few miles at 70, 196 ect, delta of 2, and held it. No bouncing around even if I messed with the throttle. At 55mph I put it to the floor.

55-60 pedal to the floor after running about 30 minutes

I couldn't get the boost above 22

Damm, Your just a few days late with that question. I would of
taken a tape to it had I known that you needed to know.
The tube does not have that large of a bubble flair in it.
That should get you very close to the correct size in mm.

Might be a good idea to do both the fill and vent hoses.
